Rinse your dive mask after each dive
Note that the following steps were originally written with the assumption that you would rinse your dive mask with fresh water Diving maskwhen you got done diving. Rinsing it with fresh water is incredibly beneficial since it washes off saltwater, dust and anything else that could damage your mask with the passage of time. A little soap will work to give it a good wash too. Once it’s clean, dry your dive mask well before storing it away. Storing a wet dive mask can allow bacteria to grow, which can hurt your skin and even damage the mask itself. A happy mask is a clean mask! Store Your Dive Mask Properly
A common question is how should you store your dive mask, as it will help it last well. When you’re not wearing your mask, doCHILDREN'S Dive Mask store it in a shaded dry environment away from the sun or heat. Excessive heat or direct sunlight can damage the materials of your mask. Never leave your dive mask stowed in your car for long periods of time — and particularly on hot days — as the soft parts of the mask can be damaged. And don’t suspend your mask by the strap. This type of hanging can stretch the strap or cause it to become tangled. Instead, put it in a case and lay it flat. It helps keep it safe and ready for your next dive.
Do Not Touch the Lens and Skirt
Try to avoid touching the front part (the lens) or the soft edges (the skirt) of your dive mask with your fingers. The oils that yourbest diving mask skin secretes can accumulate on the lens and result in a film that makes it difficult to see clearly through the lens while in the water. Especially while you are enjoying the gorgeous sights under water - this can be very irritating. In addition, don’t use any abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals on your dive mask, as these can scratch the surface and cause damage. Be gentle with your mask at all times to help keep it in good shape.
